Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an attorney to join its labor and employment team as a non-partnership track salaried attorney in its Richmond, VA office. An attorney in this position will be benefits-eligible and will generally have an expected billable hour goal of 1400-1800 hours. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of employment litigation and counseling experience. A successful candidate will have extensive litigation experience; be capable of running and managing cases, communicating, and negotiating with opposing counsel, arguing motions in court; have strong analytical, research and writing skills; and be comfortable advising clients directly and managing deadlines and case dockets. Experience with traditional labor and labor management relations is a plus. Licensure in the jurisdiction of the home office is required. Virginia bar membership is preferred but, in any event, required within one year of commencing employment.
