Description
The Oil and Gas practice group of Hunton seeks an attorney with at least four years of experience to join in a full-time, non-remote, partnership-track associate position in the Houston office. Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following: mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, development agreements, operating agreements, and commercial agreements in the traditional energy sectors (including upstream and midstream oil and gas). Experience drafting and negotiating gathering, transportation, processing, supply, and offtake agreements and agreements related to carbon capture or other energy transition projects is a plus. Texas bar membership is preferred, and in any event required within one year of joining the firm. Candidates in Houston or who seek to relocate to Houston are welcome to apply.
