START DATE: Immediately
WORK HOURS: 10 Months / Full-Time
RANGE OF PAY: $30.45 - $31.70 / Hour
BENEFITS: HESPA (RN) IMRF, Voluntary Retirement, Insurance
CLASSIFICATION: HESPA / HEA. Dependent on Certification

SUMMARY: To coordinate a comprehensive school health program including delivery of services to students and staff members in order to enhance health and wellness in the school community. Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional school nurse practice, district/state board of education policies and procedures and Illinois States law regarding nursing practice.
QUALIFICATIONS: Illinois Professional Educators License with School Nurse endorsement or Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois with state approved IEP designation and current CPR program completion., Illinois Certification as a Vision and Hearing Screening technician preferred. Computer literacy and competency in use of existing technology. Prior professional nursing experience, preferably pediatric, adolescent, community or mental health nursing, and health program management preferred.
