OVERNIGHT JANITOR

NOW HIRING – Janitorial – Full Time
Location: Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), Pittsburgh, PA
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Overnight, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Summary:

The Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work areas throughout the airport facility. This includes general cleaning of offices, gate areas, stairways, jet bridges, and other assigned spaces. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• General cleaning and disinfecting of offices

• Sweeping

• Mopping

• Dusting

• Emptying trash cans

• Cleaning jet bridges

• Cleaning stairways

• Maintaining cleanliness of gate areas

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the shift

• Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 10–20 pounds or more with or without accommodation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 1 year of experience in janitorial or related work

• High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must have a reliable telephone number for contact

• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal and written instructions in English

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (DOT or Non-DOT, as required)
