URGENT HIRING – IMMEDIATE OPENING
Huntleigh USA is actively seeking a Part-Time Secure / Clean Supervisor to support operations at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining service excellence in a fast-paced airport environment.
Candidates must be available for evening part-time shifts and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
SHIFT INFORMATION
Part-Time Position
Shift: 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Open availability required, including weekends and holidays as needed
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day activities of a specific shift operation. This includes managing employee performance, ensuring accuracy of attendance and timekeeping, effectively coordinating workload, and properly utilizing company and client vehicles and equipment. All discrepancies must be reported to the Operations Manager and/or General Manager.
DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS
- Business-appropriate professional attire or company-issued uniform
- Clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance at all times
- Security identification badge must be visible at all times while on duty
- Closed-toe, safe, and appropriate footwear required
- No excessive or unprofessional accessories permitted
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a shift-based environment required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have reliable cell phone and transportation
Physical & Personal Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift throughout shift
- Ability to professionally interact with employees, clients, and the public
- Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- Must complete criminal background check and obtain security-sensitive badge
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate instructions in English
- Must be able to resolve conflict situations professionally
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform duties of subordinate employees when necessary
- Monitor and manage shift operations and employee performance
- Schedule personnel daily and submit to Operations leadership
- Approve and monitor overtime usage with proper authorization
- Audit employee timekeeping and attendance records for accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and government regulations
- Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and management
- Identify and report safety hazards or equipment issues immediately
- Respond to incidents and escalate urgent matters appropriately
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and corrective feedback to staff
- Maintain accurate reports, training records, and documentation
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure client compliance standards are met
- Ensure gates and operational assignments are properly staffed and on time
- Track employee location and activity as required (15-minute intervals)
- Prepare and submit accurate shift reports 30–60 minutes prior to end of shift
- Maintain professionalism and leadership presence at all times
- Address employee concerns privately and professionally
- Attend required meetings and training sessions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
