Position Summary
The Passenger Services Agent plays a vital role in fulfilling Huntleigh USA’s commitment to exceptional customer service for airline passengers requiring wheelchair assistance—whether by necessity or comfort. This position ensures a safe, efficient, and pleasant airport experience by providing wheelchair and aisle chair assistance, baggage support, and general passenger services while maintaining compliance with airline, TSA, and airport regulations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Safely transport passengers to and from required airport locations while remaining alert to potential hazards

Provide wheelchair and aisle chair assistance to inbound and outbound passengers

Assist passengers in and out of wheelchairs, ensuring comfort and safety

Provide luggage assistance for inbound and outbound flights, including groups or teams as required

Assist hearing- and visually impaired passengers with guidance and support

Escort passengers to restaurants, restrooms, or animal relief areas as requested

Ensure passengers arrive at the correct departure gates safely and on time

Provide general airport information, directions, and customer service

Communicate with dispatchers and gate agents to coordinate passenger assignments

Complete incident reports and maintain accurate wheelchair trip logs

Comply with TSA screening procedures and all airport safety regulations

Retrieve and return wheelchairs to designated staging areas

Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, and/or support up to 75 pounds or more

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift, squat, stoop, push, bend, and maintain mobility throughout the shift

May be required to assist passengers on stairs or boarding areas
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (may be required at some locations)

Reliable transportation

Ability to read, write, speak, and follow instructions in English

Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings (DOT or Non-DOT as required)

Strong customer service skills and a professional, compassionate demeanor

Prior experience in customer service, airport operations, or passenger assistance is a plus
