Summary
Business Lending Specialist Sr. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with a focus on business lending. This role involves evaluating loan applications, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations
Duties And Responsibilities
- Drives business development activity across a specific geography working with external referral sources as well as internal retail partners
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Evaluate and process business loan applications, including analyzing financial statements and credit reports.
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the loan application and approval process.
- Take on leadership roles on team initiatives and/or mentoring roles with both retail and business banking partners.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business banking business development, credit and lending experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess creditworthiness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present in front of clients and COIs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
