Job Overview
Huntington Memorial Library currently has an opening for a part-time labor. This is a 20-hour-per-week position with flexible hours, although Saturdays are required. The primary duties of the job involve cleaning and maintenance of the Huntington Park and Library. These duties include (but are not limited to) mowing, seeding, fertilizing, picking up garbage, dusting, planting and gardening, and ice and snow removal. On the job training will be provided.
Candidates must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis and the ability to travel up and down ladders regularly.

Responsibilities
- Plant, prune, fertilize, spray trees, flowers and shrubs.
- Pickup garbage in the park daily. Empty garbage cans in park for pickup and put out garbage and recycling materials on pickup days.
- Mow, seed, and fertilize lawns.
- Maintains, cleans, sharpens, and repairs tools and other equipment.
- Pants the building and park fixtures as necessary.
- Replaces light bulbs and regularly inspects lighting in and outside of building.
- Dusting of desks, woodwork, furniture, books, bookshelves, and other equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Washes windows, walls, sinks, and other fixtures as needed. Shampoos carpets.
- Runs errands as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed.
- Removes ice and snow from parking lots and walks.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
