Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Mathematics Tutor located in Charlotte, NC, with opportunities to work both in-person and remotely. The Mathematics Tutor will be responsible for providing personalized math instruction to students across various K-12 levels, including topics such as general math and algebra. Day-to-day tasks include conducting one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions, preparing lesson plans, tracking student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment to support academic success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mathematics, including algebra and foundational math skills
- Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring
- Strong Communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual student needs
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with standardized test preparation is a plus
- Experience in K-12 education is advantageous
