What You’ll Do
Lead the Academic Floor
- Oversee daily instruction for reading, math, and study skills
- Ensure sessions run smoothly, efficiently, and with high quality
- Monitor and adjust student programs
- Ensure materials and plans are accurate and up to date
- Step in to teach when needed
- Administer and review student testing (AEs, ITs, etc.)
- Ensure programs are properly prescribed
- Help train and guide part-time teachers
- Build schedules and ensure proper coverage
- Maintain a positive, team-focused environment
- Manage schedules, attendance, and make-ups
- Maintain student records and organization
- Keep the center structured and running efficiently
- Provide updates on student progress
- Participate in conferences
- Build strong relationships with families
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once
- Comfortable working with students and parents
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
- Teaching, tutoring, or education experience
- Experience working with children or teens
- Part-Time: :30 hours per week
- Schedule: Afternoons, evenings, and some Saturdays
- Location: Lakeland, FL
- Pay: $17-$18/hour (based on experience)
