Assistant Director of Education – Full-time or Part-time (20–40 hours/week)

With more than 250 centers nationwide, we offer personalized instruction in reading, phonics, writing, math, and study skills, along with 1-on-1 ACT and SAT test prep. We’re seeking a passionate and results-oriented Assistant Director to help manage center operations and guide students to success.
What you’ll do
- Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring smooth scheduling, billing, and parent communication
- Review student assessment data, update individualized learning plans, and monitor academic progress
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of part-time tutors and teachers
- Teach small-group and 1-on-1 instruction when needed, modeling best practices
- Collaborate with parents and staff to address student needs and celebrate milestones
- Support marketing and outreach efforts, including community events and local partnerships
- Work during evening and weekend hours to accommodate families’ schedules
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education or related field strongly preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in management, customer service, retail sales, or education
- Outstanding communication and listening skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Proven ability to coach and lead part-time teams
- Enthusiasm, warmth, and a collaborative spirit
- Genuine passion for working with children and helping them grow
- Strong organizational skills and comfort multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Solid computer skills (MS Office, scheduling software)
