What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAT / ACT Verbal Tutor position at Huntington Learning Center, Springfield, PA?
Huntington Learning Center of Springfield is urgently seeking SAT and ACT Verbal teachers to support growing demand for Huntington Exam Prep. Retired teachers and recent grads welcome, as well as working teachers looking for summer work! Daytime, evenings, or weekends let you build a flexible schedule.
You'll work with our SAT and ACT students 1:1 to help them understand the test, develop strategies, improve deficiencies, and maximize their scores. We offer flexible hours year-round on both weekdays and weekends. Please note this is a part-time, hourly position. Availability in-person at our Springfield, PA location is required and candidates MUST be local. This is not a virtual or online role.
Huntington Learning Center has been a leader in the education service industry since 1977. We offer tutoring to students of all ages in reading, writing, math, science, and study skills. We also offer test preparation programs for SAT/ACT, Keystone Exams, ASVAB, high school entrance and GED.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
