We offer children and adults tutoring in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT, and ACT preparation.

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree required. Teacher's Certification or teaching experience is preferred. If no teaching experience, must have 2 year of teaching experience.
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in High School math subjects, or test preparation
- Implement lesson plans provided by Huntington
- Administer Academic Evaluation test, or practice tests to know about students' academic progress
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Available to teach during after school hours during the week, and/or over the weekend for limited hours if needed. Minimum 2 hours a week.
- You are required to come in person for most of the tutoring sessions. Minneapolis downtown or Roseville.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in a classroom, or tutoring setting
- Familiarity with different learning styles and strategies for engaging students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 12 per week
