We are seeking high-energy Math Tutors to help Herndon-area students excel in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calculus. This is an ideal role for anyone who enjoys making complex mathematical concepts accessible and fun.
The Opportunity:
- Deliver individualized instruction using Huntington’s highly acclaimed programs
- Help students bridge learning gaps and build foundational problem-solving skills
- Work with students in a 1 to 1 setting, or a small group up to 4
- There are no lesson plans to write or homework assignments to grade!
- Competitive hourly rate and paid training
Requirements include:
- 4 year degree required
- Certification/license a plus
- Strong communication skills and a passion for math
- Ability to work effectively with students from various cultural backgrounds and with different learning styles
- Familiarity with learning technology tools that facilitate remote or hybrid instruction is a plus
- Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students!
