Huntington Learning Center is hiring part-time Math Tutors / Academic Tutors to provide 1-on-1 instruction to K-12 students in math and academic skills.
This is a great opportunity for teachers, college graduates, STEM professionals, and aspiring educators looking for flexible part-time teaching work.
No lesson planning, grading, or curriculum development required. Training and materials are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-on-1 math tutoring for K-12 students
- Teach Algebra, Geometry, and higher math concepts
- Provide homework help and academic skill support
- Assist with SAT/ACT math preparation
- Build student confidence and measurable improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Math, Science, Engineering, or Education preferred)
- Strong understanding of K-12 math curriculum
- Strong communication and student engagement skills
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience preferred
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling (6–20 hours per week)
Compensation:
$15 – $18 per hour depending on subject expertise
