The Hill Medical Corporation is looking for a Radiology Practitioner Assistant/Radiology Radiologist Assistant to work alongside our Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologists in delivering outstanding, compassionate care.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist radiologists in performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and other specialized radiographic exams.
- Obtain and document detailed patient histories and clinical information relevant to imaging studies.
- Prepare and educate patients about imaging procedures, addressing questions and alleviating concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images while maintaining patient safety.
- Perform preliminary image evaluations to support radiologist interpretation.
- Monitor patient well-being during and after procedures, providing appropriate interventions if necessary.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards specific to outpatient settings.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of procedures and patient interactions in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and outpatient clinical staff to optimize patient flow and service quality.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain ARRT certification and licensure requirements.
- Be a key resource for patients, families, and staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Bilingual Mandarin a plus!
- Completion of an accredited Radiologist Assistant master’s program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with certification as a Radiology Radiologist Assistant (RRA) or Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA).
- ACLS/BLS certification
- A collaborative, compassionate professional with strong communication skills
