The Compensation Coordinator provides operational, analytical, and administrative support for the organization’s compensation and performance management programs. This role assists with maintaining job descriptions, coordinating compensation processes, supporting market pricing activities, maintaining HRIS compensation data integrity, and serving as a resource to leaders and HR staff regarding compensation-related practices and procedures. The Compensation Coordinator helps ensure compensation programs are administered consistently, accurately, and in compliance with organizational policies, healthcare regulatory requirements, and applicable laws.
The position works collaboratively with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HRIS, department leadership, and external compensation vendors to support compensation administration and organizational initiatives.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum one (1) year of Human Resources, Compensation, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, or related administrative experience required.
Previous healthcare compensation or healthcare Human Resources experience preferred.
Experience working with HRIS systems, job description management platforms (JDX), and compensation survey tools preferred.

Current Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

Knowledge of California wage and hour regulations preferred.
Familiarity with job evaluation concepts, FLSA classifications, and compensation structures preferred.
