Position Title: ISS Supervisor – Middle School
Terms of Employment: 10 Month Position
Evaluated By: Building Principal
Job Summary
Responsible for supervising and monitoring in-school suspension students and detention students at the middle school level
Employment Requirements

Essential Job Duties
- Assists with morning attendance
- Assures that there is no talking, sleeping or the appearance of sleeping, candy, food or any electronic devices other than when the iPad is being used for educational purposes
- Checks to see if students can be working on any missing work assignments
- E-mails student’s teacher for more work if needed
- Assures that students attend lunch and receive restroom breaks as needed
- Logs student referrals in PowerSchool and mails referrals to student’s home
- Oversees lunch-time detention
- Responsible for assigning Thursday school and notifies teachers and students of upcoming Thursday school
- Assures that students have appropriate clothing for ISS, if not appropriate, works with building staff to assure clothing is appropriate
- Meets all aspects of the Classified Employee Handbook
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as required

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community
