Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team. This full-time role provides hands-on experience in early childhood education and classroom support. Assistant Teachers work closely with lead teachers to implement curriculum, engage with children, and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
- Support children in learning through play, STEAM activities, and outdoor exploration
- Help prepare materials and maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
- Observe and support children’s participation and progress
- Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and take initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- No college degree or prior experience required (ideal for college students or those seeking hands-on childcare experience)
