What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at Hunting?

Design and develop electrical control systems for oil and gas operations.
Experience with analog and digital circuits for use in downhole Geophysical Well Logging and Perforating tools.
Experience with embedded firmware (using C and assembly) for Microchip product suite.
Work on troubleshooting production test equipment (LabView experience).
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers for integration with systems.
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting/repair of electrical equipment.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. (Master’s preferred.)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Experience with electrical design and control systems.
Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license and record that conforms to company’s insurance policies, ATF, DOT, and State of other required Hazmat training.
Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation is preferred.
