What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator 1 - DAYS position at Hunting Energy Services?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confirm job order procedures and instructions relating to machine operations.
- Set up and operate CNC Machines and/or production equipment; strictly following instructions, job specifications, and blueprints.
- Read blueprints accurately to properly set up machinery.
- Operate hand tools as necessary to set up tools in the correct machine.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
- Identify and stamp parts for traceability.
- Inspect products per print.
- Keep machine clean, perform minor maintenance as needed, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Must be willing to purchase required tools, which must pass certification criteria.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or the equivalent
Technical Requirements / Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Able to accurately use measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.
- Able to read and interpret documents.
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including computing rate, ratio and percentage.
Work Authorization / Security Clearance:
- Authorized to work in United States.
- Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock and vibration. Must have the ability to wear hearing protection when required. Exposure to noise levels that maintain under standard levels. Proper protective equipment us required as directed by the safety department.
