Job Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor the Pit Stop locations, including ensuring appropriate use of Pit Stop facilities and cleanliness of Pit Stops and surrounding area.- Provide information to the public, including referrals for public services, tourist attractions, distribute maps or directions; and other activities as required.
- Assist with collection of the data for the monthly or quarterly reports.
- Work in partnership with Pit Stop supervisor and Hunters Point Family Administrative staff to collect accurate data to measure the impact of all outcomes of the Pit Stop program.
- Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
- Relate well with members of the community, youth and families, agency staff members, and agency personnel in a courteous, professional manner, at all times.
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of program assets and resources.
- Monitors are required to stand throughout the duration of their shift.
- Standard issued uniform (Pit Stop shirt, cap, and boots) are required to be worn while on duty.
- Performs other program-related tasks and duties, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: (1) possess experience in working with “high risk” populations, and homeless (2) High School diploma or GED, (3) strong networking and development skills (4) Good verbal and written communication skills, (5) strong leadership skills (6) possess a valid California Identification or drivers license
