About us
Hunterdon Academy of the Arts is the largest performing arts after-school program in New Jersey’s Hunterdon County. The six-time winner of the Hunterdon Happening Competition (“Best Music School” Award), HAA is located in Flemington, offering in-person as well as online music and theatre arts (Acting-Singing-Dance) instruction. Catering to students ages 7 to 17, our Theatre Arts programs focus on teaching fundamental skills as well as a stage productions .
Responsibilities:
- Implement Curriculum, Lesson Plans, and Operational Systems designed by company leadership
- Teach foundational Theatre Arts classes
- Direct Musical Theatre stage productions
- Teach Private Voice Lessons
Required Skills:
- Strong skills in Musical Theatre
- Strong Voice Teaching skills
- Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and create a productive learning environment
Compensation: from $25 to $50 per hour
Positions are part-time and paid by the hour. Hourly rates are competitive and commensurate with educational credentials and professional experience. All teachers are employees (W2) and qualify for a wide variety of benefits, including company health insurance and sick time, when teaching 25 hours per week.
