ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.- Check with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries.
- Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
- Verify parts on customer invoice match delivery.
- Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
- Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Obtain recipient’s signature on each delivery entry.
- Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
- Advise parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
- Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
- Ask customers at each stop if they have anything to return including any core inventory.
- Pull parts for delivery routes and load trucks/vans for deliveries.
- Assist with shipping/receiving as needed.
- Work in a team environment.

- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
