Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of computers
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements (i.e., certificates, license, registrations)
- Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Valid State of CT EMT Certification
- Valid NREMT Certification
- Valid BLS Healthcare Provider CPR (AHA or RedCross)
- NIMS 100, 200 & 700 Certificates of Completion
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine
- SWORD Opioid Training (We will provide training if you do not have this.)
- Shall comply with all training requirements as imposed by Federal, State, Local and Medical Control entities

Responsibilities:
- Responds to instructions from emergency medical dispatchers and performs assignments in a timely manner.
- Operates emergency vehicles in accordance with regulations and company policy
- Assures proper stocking, re-stocking and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment
- Provides accurate and timely written and typed communication on patient disposition
- Provides patient assessment, treatment and transport within applicable regulations
- Responsible for performing various duties at base locations; i.e., general cleanliness of the base location including sleeping quarters
- Attends company mandated staff sessions
