We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Bilingual HR Coordinator (English/Spanish) to support our Human Resources team and help foster a positive employee experience across the organization.
Position Summary
The Bilingual HR Coordinator will provide day-to-day HR administrative and employee support functions while serving as a key communication bridge between English and Spanish-speaking employees. This role will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR records management, compliance, benefits administration, and workforce engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare employment-related documents, including offer letters, onboarding paperwork, and employee status changes.
- Support payroll and attendance administration by ensuring timely and accurate data submission.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Conduct new hire orientations in both English and Spanish.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support hiring managers with staffing needs and candidate tracking.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for English and Spanish-speaking employees.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain confidential employee information and HR documentation.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and record retention requirements.
- Support workplace safety and training programs.
Benefits & HR Programs
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and related questions.
- Coordinate training programs and employee development activities.
- Support performance review and recognition programs.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Good in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee relations, and recruitment practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
- Experience using Paylocity Highly Preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll platforms.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or related HR certification is a plus.
