Hunter Family Vision is looking for a full-time Optician to join our Prairie Village team!

We are a growing, privately owned optometry practice with three locations in Prairie Village, Leawood, and Louisburg, Kansas.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Optician, you'll play an important role in helping our patients feel confident in their eyewear and excited about their experience with us.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping patients find the perfect frames for their face, lifestyle, and personality
• Educating patients about lenses, coatings, and eyewear options
• Taking accurate optical measurements for the best possible fit and vision
• Ordering prescription lenses and tracking orders through the lab
• Inspecting, adjusting, and dispensing completed eyewear
• Applying vision insurance benefits and preparing patient invoices
• Assisting with patient checkout and payments
• Working closely with our doctors and team to create an outstanding patient experience

Work Schedule

We believe work-life balance is important!

Our typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with Friday afternoons off. Most days begin around 8:00 AM and end around 5:00 PM, with one evening per week until 6:00 PM.
