Hunter Family Vision is a growing, privately owned optometry practice with three locations in Leawood, Prairie Village, and Louisburg, Kansas. We are looking for a full-time Optician who is committed to providing exceptional patient care while creating an outstanding eyewear experience.

Previous optical experience is preferred, but if you have exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to learn, we'd still love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Every day is different, but your responsibilities will include:
- Helping patients choose eyewear that fits their lifestyle, visual needs, and the doctor's recommendations
- Providing a personalized, high-end patient experience from start to finish
- Explaining lens options, coatings, and frame selections
- Taking precise optical measurements to ensure the best possible fit and vision
- Ordering prescription lenses and tracking jobs through the lab
- Inspecting and dispensing completed eyewear
- Applying vision insurance benefits and preparing patient invoices
- Checking patients out and processing payments
- Working alongside doctors and teammates to provide an exceptional patient experience

Our office hours are designed to support work-life balance. We have one evening each week at each office when we're open until 6:00 PM. Most days begin around 8:00 AM and end around 5:00 PM.
