What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Hunter Excavation?
Hunter Excavation Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. We run well-maintained Caterpillar dozers and excavators and are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in dirt work, grading, excavation, and general site work.
We are looking for an operator with 3–5 years of experience who works well with others, takes pride in their equipment, and is team driven. This position is a good fit for someone who can work safely, stay productive, follow direction, and contribute to a crew that values quality work.
Hunter Excavation has been in business for over 50 years and offers steady, year-round work across Ellis County and the Dallas area. Our work includes precision grading for railroad subgrade, house pads, private roads, commercial site work, pond excavation, culvert installation, and general excavation projects.

Daily equipment inspections, fluid checks, and proper machine care are required.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
