Fabrication Engineer
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Engineer to join our team. As a Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the transfer of technical drawings and support documents from our manufacturing Principals to our US-based fabricators.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the transfer of Equipment Fabrication packages
- Reviewing Drawings and BOM for completeness and consistency
- Acting as a liaison between the Principal and the Fabricator
- Providing a high level of Principal/Fabricator support
- Working knowledge of equipment design
- Participating in the creation and maintenance of the drawing filing system
- Resolution of drawing unit and translation discrepancies
- Providing technical direction to the team
- Participating in the training of new team members
Qualifications include:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is ideal, but will consider years of experience education
- 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Troubleshoot and advise customers by phone
- Willingness to travel as required
Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
