Roles, Duties, & Responsibilities
- Work with assigned project teams as point of contact to advise on issues/updates as needed
- Create, review and maintain subcontract agreements pertaining to assigned project team
- Review insurance requirements and verify coverage is intact as per agreement
- Timely verification and processing of accounts payable for subcontract vendors
- Detailed data entry and upkeep of all pay applications and invoices
- Review and reconciliation of monthly statements
- Monitor tracking reports on subcontract pay progress
- Administrative support for Subcontract Supervisor
- Back up coverage of reception desk and customer services as needed
- Participate in project meetings to obtain subcontractor and project information.
- Cross train on other department tasks as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Outlook software
- Experience with AIA pay applications and retentions
- Detail-oriented, highly-organized, and flexible
- High sense of urgency and dedication to customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment as well as work independently
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, management, and employees
- Can be trusted to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company values
- Adheres to all Hunter Contracting Co. policies and procedures
- Ability to drive for company business as needed (clean/valid driver record)
- High school diploma or GED
- Three (3) years’ related experience in contract administration, accounts payable and customer service and/or training; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
