About the Role
Are you a passionate Radiation Therapist with a knack for leadership and education? We are looking for a Program Chair to lead our Radiation Therapy Program. In this role, you will be the heart of our program—mentoring faculty, shaping curriculum, and ensuring our students become the next generation of top-tier Radiation Therapists.
You’ll oversee everything from JRCERT accreditation and clinical partnerships to classroom instruction, ensuring our program remains a leader in clinical excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Inspire: Manage program faculty and staff, providing mentorship and performance evaluations.
- Curriculum Mastery: Develop and refine course content to stay ahead of modern clinical practices.
- Accreditation Oversight: Serve as the primary lead for JRCERT standards, self-studies, and site visits.
- Student Success: Support students through recruitment, academic advising, and clinical placement oversight.
- Teach: Deliver high-quality didactic and laboratory instruction.
What We’re Looking For
- Credentialed Expert: Current ARRT certification and registration in Radiation Therapy.
- Licensed: Current New York State license (or eligibility).
- Educated: A Master’s degree (or current enrollment in a Master’s program).
- Experienced:
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Radiation Therapy.
- Experience in a JRCERT-accredited program (instructional or administrative) is strongly preferred.
- Leader: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage personnel and complex regulatory requirements.
Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
