ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Know proper safety procedures for operating in and around the process areas in the refinery
- Read and follow all applicable guidelines and procedures
- Shadow/observe refinery personnel to obtain working knowledge of day-to-day operation of refinery and administrative support areas
- Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by supervision
- High school student at Junior status or higher upon entering the program
- Must be dually enrolled in the modern manufacturing program at Shelton State community college
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must have a written recommendation from a teacher
