Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Plate Role Operator with programming experience to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines that produce high-precision metal plates and components. Your expertise will ensure that all parts meet strict quality standards while maximizing efficiency on the production floor. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC plate machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, and other related equipment such as press brake machines and stamping presses.
- Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and G-code to produce complex metal parts accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and material requirements to ensure precise fabrication.
- Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment; assist in packaging finished products for shipment.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly lines, fabrication tasks, and tooling adjustments to meet production deadlines.
Skills
- Ability to read drawings
- Experience with Lathe model Davi CNC prefered
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers accurately.
- Familiarity with factory safety protocols, materials handling procedures, and warehouse operations.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements.
- Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, fabrication processes, and quality control standards.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
