Pest Control Technician
Hunt Pest Service – Rutherfordton, NC
Pay: $14.00 – $21.00 per hour | Full-Time | 35–40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Occasional Weekends as Needed

Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties
- Identify pest types and determine the level of infestation
- Develop and apply effective pest control treatment plans
- Safely and responsibly handle pest control products and equipment
- Seal entry points and provide customers with prevention recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients
- Follow all company procedures, PPE policies, and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in pest control or related field preferred — we’ll train the right person!
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and professional
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, or elevated/tight areas
- Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work in various environments
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude
Requirements
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must maintain a clean shave to ensure a proper respirator seal when required
- Must be able to commute to or relocate near Rutherfordton, NC
- Must be able to work in-person at customer locations
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00 – $21.00/hour, depending on experience
