Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Katy, TX, for a Family Law Associate Attorney. The role involves handling diverse family law cases, including preparing and drafting legal documents such as motions, participating in client consultations, conducting legal research on family law matters, representing clients in mediations and court proceedings, and collaborating with team members to deliver client-focused legal solutions. The attorney will manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and practical experience with family law and related legal matters
- Proficiency in handling contested legal issues, drafting motions, and preparing legal documentation
- Experience representing clients in court proceedings
- Excellent research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal information
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with family law cases is highly preferred
