Technology Project Manager

Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team in the structured cabling department of our technology division.

The role of Project Manager should have a deepunderstanding of the technology field specifically related to low voltage cabling systems with the ability to understand aspects of construction from conceptual stage including design and estimating through construction and closeout. The qualified candidate must have a clear understanding of responsible financial stewardship and quality craftsmanship.

Major Duties:

• Planning and defining scope according to company and project guidelines.
• Activity planning and sequencing.
• Resource Planning and time estimations.
• Cost estimating and budget development.
• Documentation, organization, creation of charts and schedules, monitoring, and reporting progress.
• Managing risks and issues
• Team leadership
• Strategic influence and business relations.
• Working with vendors for material management.
• Quality control.
• Customer service
• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Be a self-starter and be dependable.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manger.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-7 Years in the Low Voltage Industry.
• Experience running crews.
• Sales and presentation experience.
• Estimating experience preferred.
• Proficient in Accubid, and Microsoft Office products.
• Financial management for responsible projects.
• Previous project management experience in Low Voltage.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday, 7:00 am - 2:00 pm.
