Industrial Apprentice Electrician

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed Industrial Electrical Apprentice to join our team in our electrical division for a job located in Delta, Utah.

The Licensed Industrial Electrical Apprentice must complete the number of hours required for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship). 

Major Duties

• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to climb ladders several times in a row.
• The ability to work with hands above your head with tools.
• The ability to lift tools and equipment above your head several times.
• The ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• The ability to stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Be a self-starter and be dependable.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program.
• Have an active state apprentice license.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be willing to travel and work out of Delta, Utah for the duration of the project.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
