Salary: Hunt Electric, Inc. and Instrument Control Center(ICC)ofSalt Lake City, UTis seeking a qualified candidate to fill afull-time ElectricalProject Managerposition with Mission Critical/Data Center experience in our Salt Lake City office.In this pivotal role, you will oversee and drive complex electrical projects from conception through to completion. You will be responsible for managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. The qualified candidate will oversee the bidding, estimating, prefabrication, and installation of electrical building projects to serve our customers.Major Duties:Lead cross functional teams to successfully execute electrical projects.Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.Manage multiple projects simultaneously.Create preliminary schedule to ensure clients have lead times using just in time principles.Create and manage key relationships with vendors, customers, and service providers.Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Process contract drawings and specifications and oversee the project is in accordance with these documents.Process and manage change orders.Prepare billings and ensure timely payment of billings.Monitor projects material and labor costs and ensure accurate quality reporting is being conducted.Read, interpret, analyze, and forecast a projects cost report and determine the status of the job in terms of schedule and cost.Be aware of unit costs and monitor and compare daily progress on site with that of the projects estimates.Conduct project coordination meetings as needed.Coordinate, manage, and communicate with all vendors and effectively deal with problems such as delivery, labor, schedule, and payment disputes.Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and complianceto scheduled work hours.Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a Can-Do positive attitude.Actively contributes to a positive team environment.Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and complianceto scheduled work hours.Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.Minimum QualificationsProven experience as Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects in a electrical/manufacturing environment.Strong organizational and planning skills.Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.Thorough understanding of electrical manufacturing and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on project activities.Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence etc.) skills essential.Experience in environments that comply with ISO-9001.Proficiency in computer systems, ability to quickly learn estimating and project management software.Experience with MS Projects, excel, google docs and Blue Beam preferred.Manufacturing experience is a plus.5-7 years related experience.This full-time Electrical Project Managerposition receives acompetitive salarycommensurate with experience and position responsibilities.
