What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst I position at Hunt Consolidated, Inc.?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain, update, and enhance the company’s financial model used in planning, budgeting, and financing applications.
- Coordinate with the Treasury department in planning activities and models for cash forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of inputs for the annual budget for approval by executive management.
- Work closely with the operational planning group on updates used in the monthly financial forecasts, including assumption changes and significant operational events.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders in the preparation of estimated inventory levels of crude and products for submission to external stakeholders.
- Compile data required for business segment analysis and commercial opportunities, coordinating with internal and external data sourcing.
- Assist in the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of data for statistical and qualitative reports.
- Assist in the preparation of peer analysis and present to management on a quarterly basis. Keep management informed of competitor landscape, industry trends, research and forecasts that lead to new opportunities.
- Assist in the administration, analysis and reporting of the company’s hedge portfolio.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields. MBA or CPA is preferred. One to three years’ related experience is preferred. Advanced Excel modeling and Power Point skills.
