Seasonal Maintenance Support Specialist

A Brief Overview

The Seasonal Maintenance Support Specialist is a temporary position that provides assistance to the maintenance team in all phases of grounds and property maintenance. This role is tasked with light repairs to residential units, landscape maintenance, and some housekeeping duties.

What You Will Do

• Performs duties in the support of the Maintenance Director, Maintenance Manager, COM, and Warehouse teams.
• Assumes responsibility for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
• Assists in housekeeping duties for office areas on daily basis.
• Assists in the preparation of market ready units.
• Assists managers with assigned maintenance tasks.
• Assists in the cleaning of available units to include carpet cleaning (where applicable).
• Maintains curb appeal.
• Assists in maintaining playgrounds and other outdoor amenities.
• Paints, as assigned.
• Represents the property in a professional manner, at all times.
• Reports all unsafe conditions to direct supervisor.
• Understands and follows the proper use of equipment and chemicals including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) Required
• General knowledge of basic repairs and facility maintenance.
• Requires a self-motivated, team player who pays close attention to detail and who can prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
• Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic understanding of safety practices.
• Requires use of technology platforms on a daily basis.
• DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State Required
  
  

Compensation

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $23.97 - $26.25 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer. We also offer a generous total compensation and benefits package.
