The Sales Assistant will assist in developing client relations by learning the prospecting process, sales presentation, and contract management. This position will provide exceptional customer service experience to potential home buyers and provide administrative support throughout the sales contract process. As a leader in this organization, it is imperative that the Sales Assistant maintain a mindset of continual improvement and work diligently to foster a culture of continual improvement within the team, the department, and the company.
What You Will Do
- Supports the Sales Counselor in the prospecting process through a professional sales presentation, by engaging the visitors, establishing a relationship, and determining their home buying needs by utilizing the Company’s selling philosophy.
- Develops in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace, including product, site, local community, sales, advertising, and demographics.
- Assists in the management of buyers throughout their home buying experience by providing timely and consistent follow-through from initial contact, the purchase and financing process, through all closing and post-closing activities. Maintain accurate records of all communications in Salesforce during this process.
- Maintains sales materials including pricing, floor plans, elevations, options, features, products, memos, buyers, prospects, and properties, updating all systems daily.
- Maintains the condition of the sales office, models, and inventory homes communicating with field and office staff about maintenance issues and ensuring issues are resolved.
- Ensures that all community signage is clear, visible and in good condition, install available and sold signs as needed.
- Presents oneself in a professional manner, while maintaining an insightful and enthusiastic team focused environment.
- Maintains positive communication channels to help the flow of information from department to department.
- Participates in continuous training. This includes learning product knowledge, procedural proficiencies, computer software, and cross-train in other communities as needed.
- Reviews and provides feedback to the Marketing Team in regard to information on www.viewhomesinc.com on a weekly basis.
- Participates in the homeowner meetings and orientation(s) required by the Division.
- Participates in weekly sales rallies.
- Monitors and records daily customer traffic utilizing Salesforce.
- Adheres to departmental operating guidelines and View Homes’ Employee Manual.
- Fosters, encourages, and rewards a fun, positive, successful values-based culture!
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- College degree. Preferred
- One-year customer service or sales experience. Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced PC skills (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).
We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $33,800 - $39,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer.
