Hunt Alloy Fabrication is seeking an experienced Alloy TIG Fitter/Welder with a strong background in pressure vessel and custom fabrication work. We specialize in high-quality alloy fabrication for industrial and process applications and are looking for motivated craftsmen who take pride in precision workmanship.
Responsibilities- Fit and weld pressure vessels, piping, and fabricated assemblies
- Perform GTAW/TIG welding on stainless steel and high alloy materials
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and shop travelers
- Layout, fit-up, tack, and assemble vessel components and nozzles
- Maintain weld quality to ASME and customer requirements
- Work safely and efficiently in a fabrication shop environment
- Minimum 5 years experience in vessel or heavy fabrication manufacturing
- Strong TIG welding and fitting experience
- Experience with stainless and alloy materials including:
- 304/304L
- 316/316L
- Duplex Stainless
- Nickel alloys (Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel)
- Ability to pass weld test
- Ability to read blueprints and perform precision fit-up
- Experience with ASME code fabrication preferred
- FCAW and SMAW experience is a plus
