Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all guest requests are met.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and preparing for new guests.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items, culinary techniques, and service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable systems is advantageous.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
