Description
In this role, you’ll play a key role on our governmental audit team and participate in a wide variety of school district and municipal engagements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute audits in compliance with GAAS, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
- Research technical accounting and auditing issues; provide technical review support
- Perform single audits and prepare the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards for various governmental audit clients.
- Perform school district audits, including limited travel requirements, and general involvement in other governmental engagements.
- Develop, train, and mentor staff
- Build and manage client relationships
- Participate in firm-wide strategic planning and goal setting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 2 years of public accounting audit experience
- School district, municipality, and single audit experience preferred
- CPA license or actively pursuing designation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
