Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional learning.
- Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the day.
- Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and engagement among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance classroom experiences through shared lesson planning, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting; prior classroom experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development stages and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom environment that supports positive behavior management and child welfare.
- Certification in early childhood education or Certified by MSDE by taking classes.
Pay: From $15.25 per hour
