Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory through accurate stock counting, inventory control and written communications.
- Assist with order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Support materials handling tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform load & unload operations for incoming and outgoing shipments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Support warehouse distribution activities including order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred.
- Experience operating equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers is essential.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, stock management, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
