What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI-Driven Software Engineer position at Humming Agent AI?
We're hiring an AI-Driven Software Engineer (Contract, Part Time or Full Time)
HummingAgent AI is a fast-moving Denver consultancy building custom AI for SMB clients. We deploy RAG systems, voice agents, and AI automation, and LibreChat is part of our stack on several active projects.
Looking for someone who:
• Has shipped real LibreChat customizations (plugins, UI, auth, integrations)
• Can build and wire up RAG pipelines
• Knows their way around MCP servers, tool integrations, and model routing
• Can deploy on Azure
• Is comfortable working in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, Python, and React
• Uses AI-first dev tools daily (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex)
• Ships fast and works directly with clients when needed
This is a 1099 contract role, part time or full time, with potential to grow into full-time as we scale. Remote (US time zones preferred). Colorado local is a plus but not required. Rate based on experience.
