What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Business Analyst position at Hummel Pro North America?
Hummel in Grafton, WI is looking to add a IT Business Analyst to their growing team! The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business process knowledge, project management experience and technical skills. This role is an on-site position and will work closely with the business to understand their needs, implement systems enhancements & additions, and provide systems support on an ongoing, day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Hummel’s core systems (ERP, WMS, eCommerce, CRM) to ensure optimal performance, functionality & data integrity
- Provide functional support to end-users; teaching them the proper way to use the system, while assisting with implementing “workarounds” when system issues affect operations
- Manage system enhancement & implementation projects, including requirements analysis, solution design & testing, and budget/timeline management
- Maintain relationships with software & support vendors, working with them on support cases, implementing new features, and proper use of products
- Maintain system documentation, including change logs, common fixes to incidents, etc.
- Follow all company safety, quality and housekeeping policies, procedures, and practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or similar discipline
- 3 years of experience using & supporting enterprise software such as ERP, CRM, WMS & EDI
- Specific experience with Business Central ERP and Shopify is a plus
- Knowledge of warehousing & back-office processes, as well as project management principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
