Location: Gardena, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience)

We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a bilingual Accountant (Accounting / Tax ) to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting both accounting and tax functions for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and/or tax-related services for clients
- Handle financial reporting, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns (if applicable)
- Communicate with clients regarding financial and tax matters
- Support and collaborate with internal team members
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of accounting and/or tax experience
- (Audit, public accounting, consulting, or in-house experience)
- Experience in corporate tax is preferred (for tax-focused candidates)
- Experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly preferred
- CPA license is not required, but CPA candidates or those with relevant coursework are highly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Language Requirement
- Japanese-English bilingual required
